An up to full time dentist opportunity has arisen at Ballarat Family Dental as we welcome a general dentist with a minimum of 1 year experience to join our growing clinician team.
Your full time hours will be spread across 4 weekdays, with Saturday hours on rotation once every 4 weeks.
We are looking for a clinician willing to work together with the leadership team of the practice to build and strengthen the practice's clientele base and team.
Our practice is a growing practice where many patients find us via word-of-mouth referrals. Many of our patients have been well looked after over the years by our ethical and patient-centric team.
A patient rebooking rate of at least 80% is expected.
The ability to treatment plan comprehensively and obtain case acceptance through quality DSLR photography and clinical records will be critical to your success.
You must be capable of team playing, be committed to attend team trainings, and be humble enough to be teachable.
You will have the luxury of working with a supportive team that is keen to see you succeed in your role.
There will be many existing and new patients, but you need to know how to communicate effectively to ensure their loyalty to the practice.The support staff are well trained in 4-handed dentistry.The practice is well equipped with the latest technologies and dental materials, including a CBCT and the latest Primescan and CEREC, GA facility.We have a mature hygiene department that allows you to practice at the ceiling of your scope.What we expect from you is that you would work with the team in a professional, respectful manner, treat the patients like you would your own family, communicate effectively, and document thoroughly.
Ballarat Family Dental is a referral-based practice with nearly 50% of our patients finding us through word of mouth referrals. We take pride in providing gentle care to families and anxious patients. There is a lot of dental disease within the community we serve, and our goal is to help them understand and minimise the risk factors so that there is a positive change for all individuals that attend our practice. Accreditation for nitrous oxide sedation use is preferred to fit in with our practice philosophy. Under some circumstances, we also provide care under general anaesthesia to patients. We also have a wonderful team of local specialists with whom we have a strong referring relationship.
We are looking for someone who is committed to relocating to the lovely historical town of Ballarat and settling down in this area with their partner or family for the long term.
Ballarat is about 100km from Melbourne's CBD, an easy drive of 1 hour and 20 minutes to Melbourne and the Airport when required. With a population of 100k, it is the fastest growing regional city in Victoria. We have all the amenities to be expected for a comfortable life without the traffic congestion metropolitan cities would expect. We also happen to have the best performing private school in Victoria with the school fees only at a fraction of the Melbourne private school fees.
This position's start date is to be negotiated with the right candidate. A SFA agreement is to be expected.
