This role sits within the Office of CEO. This department directly supports the strategic functions of the CEO. The unit acts as a conduit between the TLaWC board, the Executive Leadership Team and staff to detail progress of organisational priorities as well as being the liaison between external stakeholders and TLaWC. The Office of the CEO manages a diverse range of complex matters on any given day relating to organisational processes, governance, compliance, and projects.
The General Counsel will give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labour law, partnerships, contracts, corporate finance, Native Title etc.) Further, the General Counsel will review, interpret and translate legal requirements and effectively communicate these to the CEO, leadership team and external stakeholders.
