The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is seeking an experienced General Counsel for Senior Executive Services appointment for up to five (5) years. As General Counsel you will lead and direct the provision of legal and legislative services to the Director General, Premier and relevant Ministers, providing authoritative and strategic legal advice and counsel on highly complex, sensitive and high risk legal and legislative issues.
You will lead the newly established Office of General Counsel and be accountable for the timely, efficient and effective provision of legal services in support of the Department's operations and Government priorities.
You will provide expert advice and recommendations on a diverse range of legal priorities and legislative matters which potentially impact outcomes for the State.
