General Construction Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Construction Labourer to join our team.
The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, including site preparation, maintenance, and clean-up.
You will be responsible for helping skilled tradespeople on-site, ensuring tools and materials are readily available, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the setup and tear-down of construction sites.
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
Operate basic hand and power tools.
Perform general site clean-up, including removing debris and hazardous materials.
Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Transport and store materials according to site needs.
Complete tasks as directed by the site supervisor or foreman.
Requirements:

Previous experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Casual, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $27.66 – $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

Full driving licence (Preferred)
White Card (Preferred)
