The successful candidate will have:
Demonstrated experience in the Lamination Industry, with extensive gelcoat or chopper gun operationExcellent hand toolskills and machinery experienceDemonstrated ability to communicate and work well within a team environmentDemonstrated ability to work to strict deadlines and meet targetsFlexibility to move within lamination areas and multi taskStrong eye for detail with a focus on accuracy and quality first timeSelf-motivated, with a positive attitude, and pride in workmanship
Lamination: Open Moulding Reading and interpreting drawingsPreparing moulds, including applying release agents.Gelcoat taping and assembling additional parts and preparing mouldsLaminating fiberglass components to a lamination schedule (flybridges, hardtops, hulls, decks and small parts)Performing in-line inspections to minimise quality issues, gel coat imperfections, and air voidsInstalling structural materials such as wood, aluminum flat bar, foam and core mat,Handling hazardous chemicals such as catalyst, resin, gel coat and structural adhesives and maintaining the shed in a clean and tidy manner, including organizing tools and materials in order to avoid any safety issues.
