SVMB maintains strategic partnerships with vendors and Commonwealth stakeholders to deliver efficient, effective, economical and ethical procurement and contract management and associated transition arrangements to ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements as set out in the PGPA Act 2013 and the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.SVMB service offering also includes the on-boarding of Home Affairs' large skilled ICT contractor workforce and strategic workforce planning and support to the Technology & Major Capability Group (TMCG) with a focus on attracting, retaining and sustaining the current and future APS workforce.Duties and responsibilitiesManage invoice (billing) validation, analysis, reconciliation and goods receipting in line with the departmental financial management frameworkPrepare and complete Accruals and Journals as part of the month end processCreate/update contracts and purchase orders in the departmental financial system.
