What we're looking for: As the Holiday Trading & Co Garment Technician, you will work closely with the Senior Garment Technician and the Design & Development/Production teams, providing technical support for the development of all HOLIDAY garments from concept, through to bulk production, ensuring that all final products are in line with the brand vision.
It will be your responsibility to ensure consistency within the collection, attending fit meetings whereby you continually look for opportunities to improve and enhance fit and functionality of garments.
You will be expected to have a strong technical understanding of garment construction and patternmaking, a good eye for detail and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
You will work closely with our team of designers to bring their garments to life.
You will be responsible for the lifecycle of the products from the creation of tech packs through to bulk production, ensuring consistency of fits and maintaining garment construction and workmanship quality to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Knowledge of patternmaking and garment constructionAbility to create and edit tech packsUnderstanding in garment grading and sizingStrong understanding of garment specification and product development processStrong organisational and prioritisation skills to ensure timelines are metUnderstanding of the production processSound understanding of textiles/fabricYou will need to apply excellent communication, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities within the roleExperience with Illustrator and Excel programsWork closely with the Senior Garment Technician and Design teams on styling and approvalsTechnical Skills To be considered for this role you will need to come from a similar Garment Technician or Technical design environment.
You will also have an understanding of Australian Standards.
