Godolphin is one of the largest thoroughbred breeding and racing entities in the world, encompassing seven countries and two hemispheres.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Gardener at our Northwood Park operation near Seymour, Victoria.
Reporting to the Head Gardener, this position is responsible for care and maintenance of farm gardens, outdoor areas, and recreational areas for Godolphin's thoroughbred stud.
Working across all areas of the stud farm, this role assists in maintaining lawns, landscaped areas, and surrounds in addition to renovation and improvement works, ensuring the property is always presented and maintained appropriately.
Key Responsibilities include:Daily care and maintenance of entrances/exits, car parks, paths, and landscaped areas.Operate light equipment for maintenance such as trimming, pruning, and hedging, including equipment checks, minor maintenance, washing, and storing.Regular mowing, edging, and lawn maintenance.Operate and monitor garden and lawn irrigation systems.Maintain plant displays and garden beds.Monitor plants and grassed areas for health, weeds, pests, and disease.Undertake regular weed control activities.Criteria:Previous experience in a gardening or horticulture role.Experience in the use of gardening equipment including zero turn mowers, whipper snippers, and hedge trimmers.Well organised, well presented, and confident team player.A proven track record of punctual and reliable work attendance.What's in it for you?Competitive remuneration package.Quality uniforms.A chance to work at one of Godolphin's premium breeding locations.How to apply:Applications will only be considered and accepted through our online portal.
