About ECHO ECHO Community Services is a not-for-profit organisation providing care to the elderly to help them live in their own home with dignity while still maintaining their independence.
We provide in-home services 7 days per week for Home Care Package clients and 5 days per week for CHSP clients.
Our goal is to provide services at the same time, on the same day and with the same team of Support Workers which means that you know the people who are coming and the time they will arrive. Having the same support workers providing services, in particular, medication prompts and personal care, maintains the person's dignity and well-being. There is continuity of care for people who receive our services.
Job DescriptionThis role is offering a flexible 4 days per week and is a genuine opportunity to make a positive difference to people's lives and your community!
Hours of work are from 7.30am up to 5.30pm.
Working as part of a small, friendly team in groups of two and sometimes as a solo, this role will provide effective, efficient gardening and some home maintenance services to customers in the Northern and Eastern suburbs.
The job entails travelling from one client residence to another throughout the day performing activities such as lawn mowing, lawn edging, weeding, hedge trimming and general gardening duties according to a client plan.
Work vehicle and equipment provided.
