As a Gardener, you will be required to;
Maintain and provide maintenance to the ground and gardens.Maintain an up-to-date chemical registerMaintenance of walkways, paths, creeks, pond and car parksDocumentation and reporting of faults, repairs and maintenanceMaintain accurate and current repair and maintenanceOperation and basic maintenance of irrigation system and gardening equipmentAssist the Maintenance person with minor maintenanceAssist external contractors with gardening services, as required.Other duties as directed by the Retirement Living Manager, commensurate with classification and trainingYour experiencewill include: Previous experience as a gardener and/or grounds personExperience operating and using gardening tools, equipment, and products.Able to demonstrate understanding and communicate effectively with older peoplePrioritisingof workload - you are able to demonstrate flexibility and achieve outcomes within specified time framesKnowledge of and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety principlesCurrent drivers licenceThe benefits to you: Resthaven offers a supportive and richly diverse and inclusive community where everyone's uniqueness is valued.
