PURPOSE AND SCOPE The Property Maintenance Gardener is responsible for providing support across VESTA. Reporting to the horticulturalist you will perform gardening duties at residential properties and unit complexes. The Gardner will undertake other duties as requested. Responsibilities/Duties Maintaining lawns and gardens at residential properties and unit complexes Maintenance and development of reticulation systems Planting, pruning and maintenance of shrubs and trees Perform routine maintenance on small machinery Undertake all work in a safe and professional manner Report any incidents to management as a priority Ensure compliance with all sites environmental health and safety requirements Any other reasonable duties as requested Minimum Essential Drivers License WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS The position is desk based and sedentary in nature, the ability to lift items up to 5kgs may be required occasionally. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT It is a condition of employment at JDFPG that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance. STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS All personnel assigned to work at JDFPG shall be: At least 18 years of age.
