THE ROLE
The role of (Internal) Sales Specialist Team Leader is to be the key representative for the range of Ascenta product distributed through the Garage Equipment silo. The role is internal and is responsible to work with other sales team members to closely manage their pipeline and maximise sales conversions. The purpose is to grow and develop this sector of our business through innovative sales strategies that expand our customer base.
You key responsibilities will be:
• Handle inbound leads from both phone and web, qualify leads for target market then propose suitable solutions to meet client objectives
• Convert leads into sales through the defined sales process
• Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct effective sales conversations leveraging phone and technology.
• Objection handling in the sales process.
• Maintain the sales pipelines, CRM, file systems and client data bases with recurring accuracy, consistency and with careful attention to detail.
• Be a follow up champion, continually follow up internal tasks to completion.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets are achieved
• Manage the gross margin for all sales ensuring that the minimum percentage set by the Company is achieved
• Coordinate with other sales team members to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring through on the ground intelligence
• Attend all daily and weekly sales meetings either face to face or via Teleconference as per the sales meeting calendar
