The Opportunity: DT Infrastructure, a leading Australian provider of engineering and construction services, and Alstom, global leader in smart sustainable mobility solutions, have been awarded an AUD$1.6B contract by the Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA) for the design, supply, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of high capacity signalling technology for Perth's suburban rail network.
This Program consists of a number of discrete but interrelated elements affecting the PTA's existing radio communications, signalling and train control systems and railway operations more generally. The combined Program will be delivered over a timeframe of up to 10 years in stages; across the existing urban passenger railway network in the Transperth system as well as those parts of the railway network traversed by other rail operators, including Transwa rail services within the Perth metropolitan area.
We are seeking talented and driven Design Engineers across various disciplines to join our team for an exciting new project involving enabling infrastructure. About You: Communication/Power/Electrical and Civil Engineering or related qualifications. Minimum of 5 plus years of experience post degree completion. 3 to 5 years of proven experience in technical management through all project delivery phases and experienced in leading an engineering team. Experience working with PTA on PTA projects will be favourable but is not a requirement. Experience with end-to-end delivery of large infrastructure projects including operator involvement and whole-of-life considerations through design and delivery into operations. High level understanding of systems engineering process and rail system safety analysis including process to SFAIRP and development of safety cases. 3D CAD system experience.
