About the position
Our Gaming team plays an important part in our Club operations. Wests currently have a casual opportunity available for a customer-focused individual across our New Lambton site. Wests Gaming and Beverage operations provide quality service to our members and guests. Key responsibilities include:
Provide friendly customer serviceGaming machine serviceDrink orders and delivery to machinesReset and payout jackpot winsOperation of Tab and Keno terminalsCleaning of workstation and equipmentOperation of tills and cash handlingCollect glasses from the floor and return to bar areas for cleaningThis position will require availability on Friday nights and weekends, with reasonable availability Monday to Thursday. As this position is key during peak periods for our venues, shifts are rostered from the evening through to early hours of the morning.
Please note that if you are successful in this role, it will require you to complete a fully funded Certificate III in Hospitality as part of your employment with The Wests Group. This program is offered in partnership with Allara Learning and is subject to eligibility criteria.
Please be advised, this role requires a Criminal Check to be undertaken prior to starting the role (Costs covered by Wests Group).
Certifications required: RSA, RCG.
