The role is available on a casual basis over a 7-day rotating roster, there is the opportunity for increased hours and career development for the right candidates.
The successful candidate will have evidence of their Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) and Basic Gaming Certificates as requirements of the role.
Ideally, applicants will have their Responsible Person badge and Advanced Gaming certificate or be willing to gain these.
Ensure excellent and professional customer service at all times Set up and reset specific activities as directed Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages Proficient in the professional service/supply, dispensing/mixing of liquor and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Ensure all gaming areas are cleaned to the required standard Ensure all gaming furniture and equipment are maintained to the required standard Ensure correct lighting/music/amenities and general ambience of the gaming room is maintained to the required standard Ensure food, coffee & beverage presentation to the guests is to the required standard Ability to mix a wide range of sophisticated cocktails Ability if required to attend TAB or electronic gaming terminals Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen, and other areas of operations Efficient and thorough knowledge of the point of sale operating system Must participate and achieve targets of add-on sales, up-selling, and spend per head To maintain the clean and neat presentation of the work area – bar and or restaurant area(s) by adherence to all operating policy and procedures Follow Standard Operational Procedures and/or Safe Work Procedures for all areas of the hotel at all times as per WHS Act 2012 Ensure personal compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Any other duties directed by Management Level 3, Hospitality Industry General Award ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will have evidence of their Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA).
