Plan A Technologies is looking for a talented Game Mathematician to work with one of our US enterprise clients on their mobile solution.Please note: you must have at least 3+ years of experience, and Casino gaming experience.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESExercises discretion and independent judgment writing and testing production code; implements mathematical logic of game play for prize determination to match specifications of math design.Customarily and regularly develops mathematical and statistical models for games; tests table math models for functionality and adherence to specifications.Independently works with cross-functional teams ensuring correct implementation of game math and to answer questions about math implementation.Develops and generates theoretical par sheets demonstrating gaming probabilities and mathematical payout of games via calculation and/or simulation.Customarily and regularly uses proprietary tools for generating slot, bingo, and lottery math files.EXPERIENCE:Masters in Mathematics and/or Computer Science or related course of study.Casino Gaming Industry Experience.3+ years of mathematical game development experience OR related professional probability & statistical experience.An ability to absorb new mathematical concepts and put them into practice.Strong expertise in combinatorics, probability theory, and statistics.Strong experience leading the math process and creating the appropriate math files, math response structures, and the final math distribution.Good understanding of the pull-tab math is required.Experience converting pull tab games to Class 3 math.Experience using the pull-tab math and providing scripted distribution for the Class 3 math using certified RNG.Demonstrates outstanding data analysis and presentation skills.Able to receive design and math direction and provide multiple solutions.Experience being a technical leader and willing to mentor less experienced Mathematicians.Upper Intermediate level written and verbal English skills.Work with a diverse international team.ABOUT THE COMPANY/BENEFITS:Plan A Technologies is an American software development and technology advisory firm that brings top-tier engineering talent to clients around the world.
