Breakfast Attendant: Assemble the breakfast buffet before mealtime and disassemble it thereafter. Ensure that the breakfast buffet remains well-stocked at all times. Receive beverage orders and direct these to the kitchen as needed. Provide customers with condiments upon request. Clear cutlery and crockery from customers' tables. Resolve customers' queries and complaints. Ensure that customers vacate the restaurant by the close of meal service. Sweep, vacuum, and mop the floors after each meal service. Clean and sanitize tables and countertops after each meal service, following the standards and rules of each property. Bistro Attendant: Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees. Familiarize with the organization of the Restaurant(s), lounges, and Room Service. Have thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in applicable outlets. Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. Pre-bus all tables, removing soiled dishes after each course. Perform cashiering functions and prepare end of shift paperwork. Ensure tables are kept stocked, tidy, and clean. Keep all beverages full (coffee, tea, soda, water, and lemonade). Break down trays of soiled dishes and linen in the dish room according to established standards. Answer the telephone according to standards. Consistently upsell food, beverage, and promotional items to guests. Be familiar with fire extinguishers, locations, and know how to use them. Receive and deliver food and beverage orders and collect payment. Ensure overall guest satisfaction, following the standards and rules of each property. Server: Serve patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner. Provide information to help food and beverage selections. Present ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner. Maintain ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude. Prepare room for dining by setting tables and arranging decorations. Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Help patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses and explaining the chef's specialties. Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices. Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed and replenishing utensils. Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant. Obtain revenues by totaling charges and issuing bills. Follow the standards and rules of each property. Busser: Remove used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables after dining. Wipe up spills and dirt from tables. Straighten out tablecloths or replace stained ones. Replace cutlery and glassware for new diners. Refill condiments on dining tables. Assist with cleaning the dining area at the close of day, following the standards and rules of each property. Runner: Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately. Uphold sanitation and food safety principles. Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash. Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory. Assist in setting up tables before service. Handle various impromptu requests from customers, following the standards and rules of each property. Barista: Greet customers and provide drink menus. Take orders while paying attention to details. Prepare beverages following recipes. Serve beverages and prepared food. Receive and process payments. Keep the bar area clean and maintain stock. Comply with health and safety regulations. Communicate customer feedback to managers. Bartender: Provide a pleasant drinking experience to customers. Serve drinks while maintaining a clean bar area. Prepare and maintain ingredients by following recipes. Coordinate daily supply inventory for the bar. Listen to customer complaints and resolve them. Participate in programs designed to improve service quality. Banquet: Read Banquet Event Order (BEO) and complete set-ups. Set tables in assigned areas correctly. Greet guests and respond to requests. Assist in setting up/breaking down buffet or special food service tables. Complete assigned side work. Follow policies/procedures regarding food and beverage service. Host/Hostess: Welcome guests and provide accurate wait times. Manage reservations and escort customers to assigned areas.
