About your new job:
Working within a supportive team your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Assist in the maintenance of the financial documents and processes in relation to the purchasing and payment of goods and services from overseas
• Assist in the creation and changes to FX hedges
• Liaising with Profit Centres to provide information regarding exchange rates, methods of payment, FX hedging requirements
• Assist in the recording of international transactions from purchasing to payment and the posting of transactions
• Assist Accounts Payable with the timely payment of overseas invoices
• Create and maintain letters of credits
• Accurately record the payments
• Liaise with Profit Centres to record the AUD value of international transactions
About You:
To be successful in this role you will ideally have exposure to the following:
• Accounts Payable or some exposure in FX experience is preferred however recent graduates will also be considered as this role allows progression into their Financial Accounting team
• Attention to detail and quality assurance by building error-checking into own workflow
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages
• Ability to work to a strict schedule and be results-focused
• Strong communication skills as well as attention to detail
• Proactive and forward-thinking
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
