Processing (Production) Manager
Managing 3 lines and 40 staff in a large and rapidly growing fresh food processing facility near Auburn.
Client Details
The client is a large fresh food processing business supplying the major multiples across the country.
Processing and packing a range of products at their Auburn site, the business requires a Production & Processing Manager on site.
Description
Reporting into the Site Manager and managing 3 fresh food processing lines and up to 40 staff, you will be responsible for production, output, safety, and all associated first line management on site.
Specifically, you will:

Supervise all aspects of production within High Care and Low Risk areas of the factory.
Manage all labour planning and resource allocation.
Ensure products are produced and packed to GMP and HACCP standards.
Analyse OEE rates of the various lines ensuring preventative maintenance plans are scheduled with engineering.
Ensure safety and safe working are embedded into the site.
Analyse and implement improvement and waste reduction projects on site.
Deputise for the Site Manager when required.

Profile
You are a proven Production Manager/Supervisor with experience gained from within a food manufacturing environment.
You are exposed to GMP and HACCP driven environments and can evidence having led performance for a shift working in a labour-intensive processing site.
Ideally, you hold a tertiary qualification in a related field and have aspirations of becoming an Operations Manager in the future.
Job Offer
Up to $120,000 + super.
