Civil Engineer Position We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team for a short-term assignment, assisting with various projects over a 3 to 4 month period. The role is part-time for 20 hours a week over 3 days. It is located in Ipswich with some meetings held in Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing the civil contractor on-siteOrganise and follow up with consultants regarding Requests for Information (RFIs)Conduct site visits to coordinate activities with Operations, civil contractors, design consultants, and testing contractorsWork under the supervision of the Civil Engineer to deliver quality project outcomesEnsure effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholdersRequirements: 3-5 years of experience in civil construction and designRelevant site-based experience; landfill experience is a plusMust reside in the South East Queensland (SEQ) areaOwn transport required for commuting to the Ipswich siteAvailability to start in December, with a break during ChristmasBenefits: Competitive hourly rate plus superannuationOpportunity to work on interesting projectsGain valuable experience in a supportive team environmentFlexibility of part-time hours (20 hours per week)Site vehicle provided for travel to project locationsSalary Range: 70-80 per hour + Superannuation
