Specializing in chairs, tables, and other pieces, they are known for project-based packages tailored to client specifications. This innovative company thrives on a commitment to craftsmanship, high-quality products, and collaboration.Your New RoleDay-to-day responsibilities include:Expertly assemble furniture pieces according to specifications and instructions, including gluing joints and clamping solid timber furniture.Ensure precise measurements, alignments, and fittings to achieve a flawless finished product; quality checked and clean.Work with solid timber machinery such as docking & panel saw, thicknesser, and wide belt sander.Collaborate with design and production teams to maintain consistency and accuracy.Identify and report any issues or defects in the assembly process promptly.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols and guidelines.Assist in inventory management and organization of furniture components.Assist with dispatch and loading trucks.Occasionally handle supplier pick-ups & deliveries using a company ute or small truck (car license required).What You'll Need to SucceedTo succeed in this role, you will need:Proven hands-on experience in furniture assembly, cabinet making, shop fitting, or a related trade, with solid timber-working skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in using tools and equipment essential for high-quality assembly work relevant to furniture, with manual dexterity and precision.Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot assembly issues.Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship and quality.Ability to work independently, reading technical diagrams and understanding different materials & their assembly requirements.Forklift license and car license required, with tiling experience being a plus.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues.What You'll Get in ReturnOpportunity to work for a leading custom furniture manufacturer with a focus on high-quality craftsmanship.Be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment that encourages innovation and growth.Access to unique, custom project work that will enhance your skills and experience.Competitive compensation package with potential for career growth.As a family-run business with traditional values, they foster a close-knit and supportive working environment.What You Need to Do NowApply now by sending your resume and a cover letter to Eve Skinner via Seek.
