As a Funeral Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting location and operations staff in the provision of funeral services to the local community. This role offers new life skills, personal growth, and development in a personally rewarding industry.
As a Funeral Logistics Coordinator, you will: Assess ongoing daily work requirements and coordinate operational activities.Respond flexibly to match client needs with available resources and carry out Funeral Arrangers' special requests and service innovations as instructed by client families.Prepare and monitor documentation including team daily work schedules, resource management and logistics, use of booking systems, liaising with grieving families as required, and supporting the business with general enquiries.Respond appropriately to requests, concerns, complaints, and unforeseen circumstances.Ensure location team delivers funeral services to InvoCare quality standards by:Coordinating and directing funeral teams to accurately follow instructions aligned to the funeral arrangements.Monitoring workplace and operational issues.Promoting funeral practices and InvoCare service delivery standards.About you: Work with the teams that organise and conduct funerals to assist them in coordinating and bringing all elements of the event together smoothly within timelines.The ability to balance competing demands and coordinate all logistical components of funeral service delivery.Strong customer service ethos and commitment to service delivery.Critical attention to detail and the ability to follow direction.The ability to be at ease working with grieving families.Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products with good MS Excel skills for planning.Manage stress and carry out the inherent requirements of the position.Benefits of joining InvoCare: Reward and recognition programs.Tailored induction and training programs.Networking opportunities across the business and with peers.Birthday and paid parental leave.Free access to Employee Assistance Program.InvoCare is proud to provide our employees with a quality work environment and opportunities for both personal and professional growth.
