Job Description The Opportunity Join the dynamic and mission-driven team at Catherine House as a Fundraising and Database Administrator.
This vital role is at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth processing of donations, accurate management of our donor database, and the coordination of in-kind donations.
You will play a key part in supporting the Fundraising, Events, and Marketing team, helping us achieve our strategic goals and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
What you'll do Process and receipt donations, fundraising income, and other revenues in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage and maintain the Raiser's Edge CRM database, ensuring data accuracy for fundraising campaigns, events, and donor relations.
Serve as the primary contact for donor development, including segmentation, targeted marketing, and evaluation of fundraising campaigns.
Coordinate in-kind donations, liaising with community supporters and volunteers.
Assist with the financial reconciliation of fundraising events, including pledges, invoicing, and donation receipts.
Provide administrative support to the Fundraising, Events, and Marketing team, including event setup, coordination, and volunteer management.
Ensure compliance with work health and safety policies, and maintain confidentiality and respect for resident privacy.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement processes and reflect the values and culture of Catherine House Inc.

Desired Skills and Experience What you'll bring: You'll bring a passion for fundraising, strong technical skills, and a commitment to making a difference.
With your experience in CRM databases and financial processes, along with your knowledge of fundraising principles, you'll be well-equipped to contribute to the success of Catherine House.
Your attention to detail, communication skills, and adaptability will ensure you thrive in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.
Genuine interest in social justice and the not-for-profit sector Experience managing CRM databases, including Raiser's Edge, with a focus on segmentation and reporting.
Demonstrated understanding of online fundraising platforms and basic financial/accounting procedures.
Strong digital literacy skills, including proficiency in office software, HTML, and web-based systems such as Word Press.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a diverse team.
Commitment to Catherine House's vision and values, and a strong understanding of the principles of privacy and confidentiality.
