UnitingSA is looking for an experienced and driven fundraising and events professional to help increase donation income, and deliver high quality, engaging and impactful organisation and community events.
The Fundraising & Events Coordinator role is twofold. With a strong focus on increasing financial donations, you will work with the Fundraising and Partnerships Lead to deliver the fundraising strategy, annual appeals and donor engagement activities.
You will also manage the end-to-end organisation and execution of external and internal events to help increase UnitingSA's brand profile, internal culture and drive engagement.
This new hands-on role will manage UnitingSA's donor database and provide valuable insights into fundraising performance in ways that will optimise future initiatives, as well as support the bequests program and sponsorships. Your strong stakeholder management skills, attention to detail and creative thinking will ensure increased community engagement and a quality donor experience.

Key Responsibilities Support the implementation of the fundraising and partnerships strategy to drive increased appeal, bequest and philanthropic donations, and strategic partnerships. Project manage and coordinate inspiring campaigns and appeals to acquire new supporters and donors, and engage existing supporters. Manage and maintain donor and partner databases and eDM contact lists. Manage the accurate recording of supporter, donor, corporate partner and stakeholder data and records and provide analysis and recommendations. Manage sponsorship and partnership agreements, records and payments. Manage the delivery of sponsorship entitlements including Executive and Senior Manager attendance and brand recognition. Coordinate the delivery and ongoing upkeep of UnitingSA's annual internal and external events program, and key project events. Lead the delivery of events for significant organisational projects, key dates and days of recognition in the annual calendar. Skills & Experience Considerable demonstrable experience in a similar position in a large organisation. Extensive demonstrable experience in coordinating the delivery of events, and fundraising acquisition and renewal campaigns and activities. Extensive demonstrable skills in end-to-end event management, including the ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Proven knowledge of events, fundraising and partnership processes, practices and methodologies. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail and an ability to write and edit for a range of uses. Excellent interpersonal skills including the proven ability to build genuine, lasting relationships and foster commitment. Substantial demonstrable CRM/data base management skills and training. Strong research, strategic analysis and critical thinking skills that support the delivery of data-driven fundraising. Competent skills within the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint. Exceptional organisational, time and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise conflicting requests and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in creating compelling presentations for sponsors and events.
