Work for a purpose-driven organisation where you can access opportunities for growth and advancement across all of our servicesGenerous salary packaging benefits per NFPUp to 40% discount on school fees at Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College or any of our 4 Newcastle Anglican SchoolsDiscounted private health insurance through MedibankA unique culture promoting diversity, cultural competence and shared valuesAccess to over 300+ gyms with the Fitness Passport ProgramFree annual flu vaccinationsFree access to our corporate Employee Assistance Program14 weeks paid parental leave or 3 weeks paid partner leave.Role & Responsibilities: Continuous monitoring of homes to ensure appropriate funding for care is claimed in a timely manner using systems and metrics to inform performance and outcomes.Conducting AN-ACC appraisals in accordance with the relevant processes and standards.Maintaining data, metrics and reporting for AN ACC reviews and income status.Undertaking documentation completion to support and evidence care needs in partnership with consumers to ensure quality care planning with assessed need and consumer preference.In consultation with the Director of Residential Aged Care, develop appropriate financial income targets for individual facilities consistent with optimal care subsidy claims.Education of employees, to assist them in the effective understanding and documentation requirements of AN ACC.Liaising with government representatives to ensure funding is appropriate and timely.About you: Registered Nurse with current Registration under AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency).Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.Detailed, working knowledge of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Accreditation Standards.Extensive knowledge and significant experience of the Aged Care Funding arrangements, in particular, demonstrated experience in maximising the Aged Care Funding Instrument claiming.Experience in evaluating workplace practices against accreditation standards, quality systems, and organizational policies and procedures.Computer literacy and familiarity with quality systems.Knowledge of Medicare claiming systems, Aged Care Complaints Scheme and Australian Aged Care Quality Agency.Familiarity with electronic care planning and documentation systems.Experience in clinical reviews and resident assessments.Who we are?
