Fund Finance ManagerJob ID: 181464Posted: 27-Aug-2024Service line: Advisory SegmentRole type: Full-timeAreas of Interest: Accounting/FinanceLocation(s): Sydney - New South Wales - AustraliaWorld's largest commercial real estate companyAPAC Regional PortfolioSydney| Land of the Gadigal peopleThis is a hands-on finance position responsible for Real Estate fund accounting and administration, including financial reporting, cash management and tax reporting for client portfolios.The opportunity:Key client contact and ensuring delivery of all reporting for allocated client portfolio.Prepare Prop Co and Holdco reporting and financial statements based on client requirements.Prepare consolidation accounts as needed.To provide bespoke financial analysis reporting as per client requirements e.g. cashflow reporting.Perform review of property managers' financial statements.Preparation of BAS and Income Tax returns.Preparation of annual standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with AIFRS/IFRS.Dividend/distribution calculations, coordination with client appointed tax advisor on approved distribution and management of cashflow process.Support the business on onboarding of new clients/new portfolio from accounting perspective.About you:You will have a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA or CPA).Experience in preparing financial statements and accounting for transactions in accordance with AIFRS.3-5 years of experience in Real Estate Fund Accounting.Working knowledge of Australian Income Tax and Capital Gain Tax would be advantageous.Experience of the MRI and Yardi systems would be advantageous.Excellent communication and organisation skills.What's in it for you?Working alongside an experienced and established team.Flexibility and freedom to show initiative to do your best work.Our company is diverse and so are the opportunities for professional and career development.Our people are free to expand their skills and knowledge to drive their careers and reach their full potential.Our mission is to realise the potential in all the businesses & people we work with, so that together we can create the real estate solutions of the future.About us:CBRE is the world's leading & largest commercial real estate services & investment firm; a growing & visionary organisation, comprised of the best & brightest professionals.
