Fund Accountant

Our client is a global leader in banking, markets and investor services, providing strategic advice, capital management, risk management and liquidity extension to the world's most important corporations, governments and institutions.
They are currently seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join their dynamic team in Sydney.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage day-to-day operations across multiple clients, oversee key control functions in Fund Accounting and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations across multiple clientsEnsure compliance with documentation requirements and implementation of proceduresIdentify and lead change with system development and process improvementsLiaise with Relationship Managers and Client Service Managers on all issues, deliverables and staff movementsEscalate any production, client or staff related issue promptly to the Senior ManagerCommit to continuous learning program to develop in the role Requirements:Degree level qualification in Accounting, Mathematics, Economics or similar disciplineExperience in Fund Operations & Unit Trust Pricing (Administration/Management/Accounting)Strong systems and technical knowledge of HiPortfolio, Investone (or asset management systems) and GTI (or custody systems)Excellent working knowledge of financial markets and instruments, both domestic and internationalStrong PC skills, particularly Excel Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
