The Fund Accountant role at FNZ is dedicated to managing and maintaining accurate financial records for a range of superannuation funds administered by the company. Working closely within the Fund Services team, this position ensures that records are kept in line with the financial and regulatory requirements expected by trustees, clients, and Financial Services Regulators. Primary responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day record keeping, processing accounts payable, managing expenses, and providing detailed reporting on fund budgets and operations to trustees. The role also involves supporting the annual audit process and contributing to statutory financial reporting.The Fund Accounting team supports a variety of clients, including managed investment schemes and retail and industry superannuation funds, by handling accounting, taxation, and investment records that enable clear oversight and facilitate external reporting. In addition to statutory and regulatory tasks, this role involves preparing APRA quarterly and annual D2A & SDT reports and ensuring timely tax reporting, such as IAS, BAS, and income tax returns.
