Functions & Events Coordinator - Mornington RacecourseWe have an opportunity for an enthusiastic full-time Functions & Events Coordinator to join our team at Mornington Racecourse. The position will manage accounts for functions and events, ensuring customers receive exceptional service and flawless coordination.
The successful candidate will build and maintain strong, positive relationships with stakeholders, managing all aspects of venue hire administration, from handling inquiries to finalising bookings, while supporting the business's growth and success.

What will your responsibilities be? Manage and coordinate event requirements and delivery for all functions and events, including food & beverage, event services, and compliance.Ensure high quality of detail in floor plans, event orders, work orders, and related documentation.Manage contractors for audio-visual, cleaning, furniture setup, car parking, and security.Deliver exceptional customer service by managing a large volume of event information and capturing it within relevant systems.Liaise with marketing partners, printers, and media organisations to provide final artwork within agreed timelines.Process invoices, deposits, and monitor client payments timely to finalise accounts.Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years' experience in sales/operations and events within a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.Strong time management and prioritisation skills.Ability to work under pressure.Personable, approachable, and an effective communicator.Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.Practical knowledge of event venues.What's in it for you?
