Functional Rail Consultant

3 Month Contract | Sydney Location

Role Description - tasks to be performed on a daily basis: Meet with clients to understand their business needs and requirements for digital processes and data captureIdentify areas where digital processes can improve data capture and overall business operationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement digital processes that align with client needs and industry best practiceDevelop and facilitate workshops with clients on digital process design and implementation, data capture, validation and process governanceConduct quality reviews of deliverables to ensure they meet client requirements and industry standardsParticipate in project meetings and provide progress updates to clients and stakeholdersProvide training and support to clients on how to use and maintain digital processesCollaborate with change management teams to ensure that digital process changes are communicated and adopted by stakeholdersMandatory Skills: A strong understanding of the rail industry, its regulations, and business processes related to the engineering and maintenance (including signalling plans, track, rollingstock, train operating conditions, control systems)Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovationStrong communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teamsProblem-solving skills, ability to identify and solve complex problems, often working with limited informationDesired Attributes and Skills: Experience creating process maps and flowcharts to document and analyse business processes using industry standard process mapping tools and techniques e.g. Visio, BPNMUnderstanding of Data Solution Architecture and DesignExperience designing data solutions that meet business requirementsUnderstanding of data modeling techniquesFamiliarity with data governance principles and data quality metricsKey Responsibilities Provide recommendations for digital solutions that are optimized, efficient, and effective.Provide the functional knowledge share and application of rail industry expertise to the teamIf you are an experienced Rail Consultant and your skills match the above criteria, please reach out to Jorden on 0481 718 590, or simply click Apply Now!
