About the role An exciting new opportunity has come available to join ARRCS as our Functional Analyst. This position is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis and offers an attractive remuneration package including salary packaging and flexible working conditions. This role is ideally based in Darwin, however, happy to discuss remote working based on the applicant.
This role will see you be an instrumental part of the development of a Corporate Services team supporting the non-clinical operations of ARRCS, Northern Territory. As the Functional Analyst, you will be the conduit between ARRCS Business / Corporate services and key operational stakeholders. The commencement of this role will see you working with the ARRCS business transition project as we transition into an in-house corporate service model. Emphasis on this role will be focused around financial and IT services, however, will include other applications when required. Following the completion of the corporate service model, this role will develop and transform into further analysis tools, design and development of improvements and efficiencies of technical systems and tools.
As the successful candidate, you will bring to the organisation a background and knowledge of working with organisations to analyse processes and use this to provide targeted processes to develop ARRCS corporate services operations team. You will have previous experience in this area with a focus of financial and IT software. You will ideally come from a financial or accounting background and have proven analytical and high IT acumen.
In addition, you will be a driven and proactive person who enjoys building a role from infancy, you will be confident to work with minimal supervision and be driven by schedules and timeframes for completion of projects and tasks.

Tertiary Degree (or equivalent work experience) preferably in computer science, securing, engineering or a related area of study. CA or CPA qualified – Preferred but not essential. 5+ years' experience and proven track record of leading and executing complex finance / IT projects. Deep knowledge of Finance modules and functional capabilities including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Bank Management, Sales Order, Fixed Assets, Project Costing, and other financial focused areas Excellent customer service skills Engaging, and able to mentor and support fellow team members. Ability to apply planning, coordination and time management skills to projects and tasks. Ability to work in a structured team and effectively contribute to outcomes. Use of sound problem-solving skills and a logical, organised approach to work.
