What's on offer? The opportunity is for a Vegetation Works Supervisor based in our Geelong Office. You will be working for an established and well-supported infrastructure services business to deliver Road Maintenance in and around the area.
The Works Supervisor will be responsible for:
Responding to network hazards within set timeframes Assisting with routine network inspections Scheduling and coordinating maintenance jobs Assisting in the completion of maintenance jobs, including patrol works and mowing operations Involvement in works meetings, including conducting daily pre-start meetings and attending toolbox meetings Resolving daily site issues Management of depot operations, including stock control and materials handling Identifying worksite hazards and assessing risk through regular safety audits and environmental risk assessments Giving feedback to the Senior Management on individual and team performance, safety, quality and timeliness of work Key things we will be looking for include:
Vegetation Trimming (including operation of chainsaw, pole saw, and chipper) Construction Induction Card Heavy Vehicle Licence Detailed scoping of vegetation works Working and living away (as required) Detailed digital record keeping Desired but not essential is a Cert. III or above in Arboriculture (or similar) & Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence.
