What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Site Engineer for our long term Projects within our Fulton Hogan Trenchless Technologies business in SA. In this role you'll be responsible for:
Work order management – receive WO's, review and prepare work packages to issue to field crews
Develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide status updates, manage priority jobs, plan delivery requirements (e.g. permits and traffic management) and flag issues/concerns with WO's
Maintain a lookahead plan for works in hand and ensure targets are met
Manage inventory and stocktake and procurement of materials and subcontractors
Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to apply relevant systems and procedures and develop new procedures/site instructions where necessary
Develop, execute and collate HSEQ documents to comply with Fulton Hogan and client requirements
Identify and track variations and submit to Client for approval.
How you'll connect to the role:
Completed your Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical desirable), or related discipline
Experience in telecommunications or civil construction environment will be highly regarded
QA background from a desktop point of view would be advantageous
Keen to spend time on construction sites and build rapport with self-perform crews
Able to travel to regional areas and interstate from time to time
Have a current driver's license
