Pakenham Ford require the professional services and skills of a Qualified Service Technician.
Full-time permanent working Monday to Friday.
Main duties for this position will be but not limited to:
Carry out vehicle diagnostics as per repair order and to Vehicle Manufacturer, Dealership and Customer requirements and report promptly to workshop controller.
Maintain a sound knowledge of all Dealership products and services.
Follow all workplace procedures and instructions.
Be responsible for the care and use of all workshop tools and equipment and return to correct place after use.
Complete all related paperwork as per dealership standards – including proper description of work carried out on repair orders.
Return vehicles in a clean condition after repairs.
Suggest training and tooling needs to Workshop Controller/Service Manager.
Keep a complete and up to date tool kit.
Assist in keeping the workshop area clean and in an orderly appearance.
Participate in any Ford Motor Company and internal training sessions as required.
Attend training programs as required to maintain technical knowledge.

The Role

To be considered for this position you will possess the following:
Full Victorian driver's licence (manual)
Qualifications in motor mechanics with 3years + experience
Experience working on numerous makes and models.
High attention to detail and ability to read and understand instructions.
