Fulltime Boilermaker/Welders Bunbury Workshop Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine, and Commercial Industries.
About the Role As a result of the company's continued growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for experienced Boilermaker/Welders to join the Orontide Fabrication Team based in our Bunbury Workshop on a Full Time Permanent Basis. Normal hours are Monday – Thursday 7:00am to 3:45pm and Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm. Plenty of overtime available Monday to Friday for 5 x 12-hour days (optional), with the possibility of earning $170,000 + super.
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following: Australian Recognised Trade Certificate. Experience in using FCAW and GTAW and ability to pass weld tests. Experience in heavy fabrication and pressure piping. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. Passion for safe working methods. Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team. Current Drivers Licence. Dogging/Rigging (preferred but not essential). High Risk Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential). Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
