Full Time Sales Associate / Lighting DesignerProfit share incentives + team member discountsUtilise your sales skills in retail and passion for interior design to light up our customers' livesPermanent full time role available at our Modbury storeUse your creative flair in this unique sales and design roleLots of perks, including performance based profit share incentives and ongoing training and developmentTHE ROLEBased at our Modbury store, this Full Time sales and design role will involve working 10 days and 76 hours over a fortnight including every second weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
Key responsibilities of the role include:Provide expert professional customer service and product advice to our retail and trade customers in the showroom as well as working on lighting design projectsBuild the design business by proactively seeking project opportunities from our retail and trade customersNurture client relationships through the entire design processRead and interpret house and electrical plans to create inspirational lighting designs to suit the customers' needs and budgetContribute to the overall presentation of the showroom through merchandising new products, assisting with promotional set ups, and general housekeepingKeep up to date with the latest technology and trends in designABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualities:Previous experience in a retail environment, achieving sales targets and working towards budgetsStrong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with your customersAn energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your jobThe ability to multi-task and prioritise your work effectivelyA strong attention to detailPrevious lighting design work experience or interior design studies favourably looked upon but not essential, however, your passion for lighting and interior design MUST shine throughABOUT BEACON DESIGN STUDIOIt's an exciting time to be working at Beacon Lighting, as we enter into new markets and grow the business year on year.
