The Role
The role requires an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educator to work as an active team member in providing high quality education and care.

In this role you will be expected to:
develop strong relationships with children at the servicedevelop the Children's Program (reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines)ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and childrenimplement the service's philosophy in undertaking all other dutiesliaise with families in regards to the day to day happenings.maintain observations and records of individual children's progressIf you're new to childcare or interested in working while you study, Montessori Academy supports new and emerging educators by offering traineeships in childcare. About you: Cert III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, ECT qualification or willing to obtain oneCurrent Working with Children CheckFirst Aid Certificate or willing to obtain oneExcellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environmentStrong understanding of the importance of family communicationsCommitment to the holistic development of their classWhat we offer Above award rates17.5% annual leave loadingFantastic training and development programs (ECT degree sponsorship, monthly in-house Montessori training etc.
