Permanent, Ongoing Full Time PositionRole could start ASAP or in January 2025Benefits: Work with an organisation who is relentless in securing quality opportunitiesNo joining feesResume and Key Selection Criteria assistanceProfessional development and networking opportunitiesAbout the Role: Tradewind is recruiting for a fully qualified Early Childhood Educator (Diploma Level) for an Early Learning centre in Fitzroy on a permanent, full time basis, commencing either ASAP or in January 2025 (depending on applicant's situation). The successful candidate will have experience and/or training in working with children with disabilities, neurodiversity and trauma-impacted needs. The permanent Full Time Educator will work Monday to Friday on a rotating roster.
Key duties: Identify and cater for individual learner needsProvide an environment that promotes the cognitive, physical, emotional, social and intellectual wellbeing of all studentsWork closely with parents regarding the progress and development of their childrenParticipate in the creation, development and evaluation of curriculumStay informed regarding current trends, early childhood practices and curriculum and resource developmentsRequired Qualifications & Attributes: Diploma of Early Childhood Qualification (or ACECQA equivalent)Up to date First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management qualificationsCurrent WWCC - EmployeeCurrent Mandatory Reporting for Early Years (or willingness to undertake training)Current Right to work in AustraliaSkills & Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a permanent Diploma Educator position in an Early Childhood settingExperienced or trained in working with children with additional needs such as trauma- impacted needs, disability, learning development delay, neurodiversity and behavioural challengesThe ability to be resilient, adaptable and show very strong pedagogical knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and EYLFAbility to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and also demonstrate a competent level of English, both written and spokenWhy work with Tradewind?
