GLOBAL GRAND INVESTMENT PTY LTD trading as Quality Hotel Mildura grand is seeking a qualified and experienced Full-time Corporate General Manager to lead and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal performance, growth, and strategic success for our organisation.
Salary Range – $170,000 - $185,000 Business Location – Mildura, Victoria, 3500 Responsibilities Plan, organise, direct, and control the day-to-day operations of the organisation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximising efficiency.
Develop and implement policies, set organisational standards, and establish objectives to drive success across all departments.
Provide leadership and guidance to departmental managers and subordinate executives, ensuring effective collaboration and achievement of strategic goals.
Assess changing business situations and adjust operations by issuing directives and delegating tasks to staff as required.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions, presenting financial reports to governing bodies and senior leadership.
Direct and manage the recruitment, performance evaluation, and development of senior staff members, ensuring a high-performing team.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, government representatives, and other external partners, representing the organisation at conventions, negotiations, and public forums.
Ensure effective and efficient use of resources across all areas, including finance, sales, human resources, marketing, and operations.
Evaluate and drive improvements in the organisation's operations to increase profitability and competitiveness.
Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
At least five years of experience in a senior management role, ideally in a commercial, industrial, government, or defence sector.
Proven ability to manage, lead, and mentor senior teams.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic planning.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the organisation at high-level meetings and public events.
In-depth knowledge of organisational processes and best practices in management and leadership.
Ability to adapt to changing environments and resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
