Position Overview:As a Chef at Streets of Punjab, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality Indian dishes with a focus on authenticity and flavor. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary talent in a collaborative and energetic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of Punjabi and Indian dishes, including curries, tandoor items, and specialty dishesWork closely with the kitchen team to ensure consistency and qualityContribute new ideas for menu innovations and seasonal updatesMaintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organizationOversee inventory, ordering, and kitchen operations as neededQualifications and Skills: Proven experience as a Chef, ideally with a focus on Indian or Punjabi cuisineStrong understanding of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and traditional recipesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent teamwork, communication, and time management skillsMinimum qualification: Certificate IV in Commercial CookeryExperience: 1-2 years as a ChefWhat We Offer: Competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuationA supportive, vibrant work environment with growth opportunitiesA chance to make a meaningful impact in a restaurant that values authenticity
