Reporting to the CEO, the Accountant will support the delivery of internal and external reporting requirements and handle day-to-day accounting tasks efficiently. The role is crucial for the organization's ongoing success in the RTO industry for students, employers, and funding bodies.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of annual financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Responsible for financial reporting and analysis on portfolios, forecasting, and actual financial performance of the organization.Prepare and lodge BAS and payments, including reconciliation of GST outgoings and incomings.Prepare month-end reports and manage accounts receivable/payable and efficient record-keeping.Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures, including internal control measures.Provide assurance on the accuracy of financial information in reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.Skills and Experience:Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance.A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance roles.Experience in the Education or Training sector is preferred.Strong knowledge of Accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in MYOB accounting software.Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure with a high level of accuracy.A strong team player with the ability to meet deadlines.How to Apply: Please send your CV to ******
