Full Stack Web Developer , you will be accountable for engineering and administration of the Agency's Web Applications technologies as part of the Development and Testing Services Section, under the broad direction of the Manager, Web, Mobile, API and Integration Services.Job Title Full Stack Web DeveloperInitial Contract - 12 MonthsLocation - BrisbaneSecurity Clearance - Australian CitizenSkills - .Net8, Angular, SQL DatabaseThe Development and Testing Services Section delivers the following capabilities, across both the Agency's external-facing products and systems, and corporate/enterprise information technology:Web, Mobile, API, Integration Software EngineeringSoftware and Conformance Testing ServicesThe Web, Mobile and API Engineering team is specifically responsible for these aspects, as well as collaborating deeply across the Branch and broader Agency to achieve desired outcomes.You will be required to undertake work that is complex in nature, work under limited direction, with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability. You will exercise both initiative and judgment in the interpretation of strategic and operational direction in their application toward practices and procedures. You will provide detailed technical, and professional advice in relation to complex problems and may assist in strategic planning, program and project management and policy development. You will liaise with a range of stakeholders in a Branch and potentially Agency representational role. Work may involve some limited management responsibilities including the setting of priorities and managing workflows.This will include, but is not limited to:Lead the delivery and maintenance of code libraries and technical tools that support the adoption and implementation of Agency products and servicesLead the delivery of expert advisory services, support mechanisms and technical documentationLead the delivery and support of technical capabilities that support demonstration, testing and training activitiesLead the provision of an expert internal development capability that leverages an understanding of the Agency's products and services to develop products and services that are not otherwise practicable within the constraints of budget, expertise or business motivation by external providersLead an environment that supports meaningful collaboration with members of the software development community, State/Territory and Federal Governments, portfolio agencies and industry bodies, and enable the Branch to effectively manage relationships with these stakeholdersSupporting the development of a culture of meaningful collaboration within the Agency to support the delivery of the Agency of its objectives and work programKey SkillsTo be successful, you will have a good mix of:Software Full Stack Developer (8+ years)Strong C# skills (using Modern IDEs - VS2022/Rider/VSCode)DotNet (ASP.NET Core 6+) and FrameworkEntity Framework and SQL DatabasesClient side: Strong Angular 15+, Typescript, ReactAPI design and developmentUnderstanding of cloud technologiesDesign PatternsUse of CI and CD ToolsUnit Testing and automation toolsIn addition, you will also have demonstrated experience managing the delivery of complex work programmes and projects with a significant strategy or technology component (preferably in the healthcare sector). You will have experience in providing advice and consulting services to various stakeholders including executive level and senior managers, strategists and technologists.
