The Web Access Section within Marketing Communications Branch is responsible for managing the Services Australia website.
You'll be working as part of a multidisciplinary team that combines publishing, development, UX design, user research, data, and editorial functions. We host our website on the GovCMS platform as a service (PaaS).
We're looking for a person who can provide full stack development support (PHP and Drupal) to manage our GovCMS platform. You'll provide support for ongoing maintenance and feature enhancements for the website. You'll be dealing with stakeholders in a busy and challenging environment.
The full stack developer also assists the Technical Manager in developing functional and technical requirements for the website. In this role you'll lead website development. This includes full stack development of innovative solutions to complex online issues, Drupal configuration, and platform management. In addition, you'll draft strategies and guidelines for technical development, you'll develop, manage high quality release processes through code review, source control, automated testing, quality assurance, and mentor junior developers.
You'll represent the team in technical discussions, provide technical advice and support to stakeholders, and troubleshoot website issues.

We work closely with Australian Hearing in providing strategic advice to the Minister and Secretary on service delivery policy and regulatory requirements for services delivered under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
