About the Opportunity We are looking to recruit a new Engineer to join our team in a Permanent full time position. In this critical role, you will help design and implement solutions across a variety of different engagements and clients. The initial engagement will be working on one of our largest and fastest growing clients, a world renowned brand and while the role will be varied, some of the activities that you will be doing day-to-day will be:
Work on sprint-based Agile projects Be a part of our Delivery Team, working with our existing cross-functional team of developers and designers to produce quality output Develop and maintain new and existing web applications and APIs Actively engage with clients to assess challenges and translate business needs into technical requirements. Continuously look at ways to refine and improve our approach to digital technology and ensure our development process complies with the highest quality, accessibility, and security standards. About You While we don't limit ourselves by defining one particular background that would be right for this role, we do need you to be able to demonstrate experience and/or transferable skills across the following key areas:
Strong understanding of foundational web technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript) Solid experience working with React using TypeScript Familiarity with Next.js or equivalent full-stack JavaScript framework Experience writing automated tests Experience with Storybook and Chromatic Experience working with headless CMS systems Experience integrating with APIs and querying data using GraphQL We also value team members that demonstrate the following:
