About the roleWe're scaling up, and are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to help us fulfill our objective in building the best observability platform for cloud contact centers. We're a AWS Select Technology Partner — our platforms utilize technologies in the AWS stack including EKS, Lambda, Kinesis, CloudFormation, RDS and S3. We also use a mix of Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker, Flink, Superset, and OpenSearch to deliver Operata at scale.How you will make an impactAs a full-stack engineer you will be hands-on in building and maintaining new features in the Operata platform, taking an API-first approach with a focus on scale, security and reliability.Understand customer problems and their jobs-to-be-done by collaborating with business and product stakeholders, and work alongside your peers to contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform.Each month, you'll have the opportunity to take a day to hack on something you're passionate about, whether it's experimenting with new tooling, improving the developer experience, or even to explore a product idea.Qualifications3+ years of experience in full stack development with strong frontend and backend skills.Bachelor Level University qualifications in IT, Computer Science or related Engineering field.Strong programming skills in TypeScript, React, and Go or similar languages. Python, Java, or Scale is a plus.Expertise in API development, with a good-level of understanding of microservices architecture.Experience working with infrastructure as code; Terraform (preferred), AWS CloudFormation / SAM / CDK, or similar .Hands-on experience with DevOps best practices, Kubernetes, Container Orchestration, and Serverless infrastructures.Proficiency with SQL and DBMs such as PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redshift, Clickhouse or similar.Experience with CI/CD workflow tools (i.e. GitHub Actions, Buildkite Pipelines or AWS Workflows).A good understanding of Cloud Security best practices is a bonus.What you'll bring to the roleYou promote openness, diversity of opinions and inclusive discussions at all times to evaluate a wide variety of ideas and perspectives in solving challenging problemsYou demonstrate clear decision making and good trade-offs in complex situations comprising multiple opinions, needs, teams, technologies, cloud providers, and architectural settingsYou communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from founders and executives to junior engineers across the breadth and depth of the business.
