6-month contract State Government Agency Eveleigh Sydney Location About the companyKarlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage a Full Stack Developer.
This position is located in their busy Eveleigh, Sydney office for an initial 6-month contract.Duties Design and develop scalable and maintainable software solutions for the Asset Management System using PHP Implement front-end components and user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks Build and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and Python Manage Oracle database operations Develop APIs & data interfaces to enable seamless integration of the AMS Write unit tests, conduct integration testing, and perform debugging Collaborate with QA engineers to develop test strategies Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance metrics Create technical documentation Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Requirements/Skills Proven experience (10+ years) as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with proficiency in PHP (core PHP), JavaScript, and Python. Strong knowledge of frontend development frameworks Experience with Oracle database management including SQL, PL/SQL, schema design, and performance tuning Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Oracle Certified Professional) desirable. Solid programming skills in relevant languages (e.g.
