Astalty: Innovators in NDIS Tech Solutions Our Vision and Values Astalty is one of the leading NDIS software providers and is dedicated to transforming how businesses utilise tech solutions to achieve enhanced outcomes for their team, their clients and business owners.
Our values promote authenticity, curiosity, continuous improvement and simplicity.
Our mission is not just to build great software but to solve real business problems and inspire change through innovation.
Our vision is to be a household name when it comes to NDIS and business management software; a solution people can trust and are proud to recommend; a solution that people simply can not say "no" to.
What you'll do We're a small multidisciplinary team working on a wide range of problems across the stack. We're looking for a senior full stack developer who can continue to improve our existing offerings and spearhead our first native mobile application development later this year. As a senior full stack developer each day will be different and exciting but will generally consist of;
Reviewing pull requests and assisting with deployments and infrastructure changes. Building and documenting new features for our flagship product as well working on improvements and tweaks to existing functionality. Writing tests to ensure we can continue to ship at an incredible pace without introducing downtime or regressions. Assist with building native applications for mobile devices as we expand our product capabilities to a wider user base. Creating and implementing design standards that prioritise ease of use, intuitive UI/UX to ensure our product provide a delightful experience for users. Defining and maintaining engineering standards with a focus on code quality, maintainability and simplicity. Working with other team members to tackle complex problems and offer your input on all aspects of our journey. As a full stack developer you will have the freedom to implement solutions autonomously and suggest improvements to existing products.
Tools you will use You should have extensive experience with;
Vue 3 Laravel MySQL Pest and/or PHPUnit Cypress, Vitest and other testing libraries Tailwind CSS Whilst not necessary, it would be highly desirable if you have experience with other tools in our toolkit such as;
Zod and the TanStack libraries React Native or Flutter (other solutions will be considered) You will have the flexibility to use other tools, languages and frameworks if they best serve our mission.
Who you are We're looking for someone with strong frontend skills and experience who is not afraid to jump in the deep end and ship quickly.
You have a strong attention to detail and can find the right balance between getting things perfect and shipping features that solve the problem. You can move quickly - we deploy several times a day and you aren't afraid to break work down into small chunks so you can ship fast and iterate often. Often you will have to design 'on the go' because we don't spend too much time perfecting the UI before we start building - you should be able to make tweaks and adjustments as you build and as feedback is received from customers. You try to find solutions to problems on your own but you're also not afraid to ask for help. Working on innovative features is exciting but it also means we don't always have the answers. We don't get bogged down in hours-long meetings and strict workflows so it is important that you are a direct communicator and can break down technical problems simply and clearly. You enjoy learning about all things relevant to our journey - of course this includes new technologies and concepts but it's also important you're passionate about the problems we're solving and you're willing to learn about the NDIS. You have a strong commitment to secure development practices and understand the importance of information security. At Astalty, you will be at the forefront of innovation, crafting cutting-edge features and solutions that are yet to be seen in the NDIS software realm. We are driven by a strong commitment to addressing real business challenges, and you will have the autonomy and support to not just tackle these challenges but to truly empower businesses through your creative problem-solving abilities.
Why Join Astalty? At Astalty, it's not just about software development. It's about being a pivotal part of a movement that's transforming the NDIS landscape.
We ship fast and we ship often - most weeks we will deploy 50 to 60 times to production. We don't build things that won't get used. Our customers enjoy using our products - we serve over 800 businesses and you'll be working on solutions that people truly enjoy using. We're fully remote - you'll be able to work from anywhere within Australia and collaborate with the team via Slack and Tuple. You'll get to work with the founders on a daily basis and provide your insights and guidance for product ideas and improvements. We promote continuous learning and invest in conferences and other education. Not only is our focus on shipping solutions that businesses love at a pace that can't be matched, but giving our customers an experience they haven't had before. This means you'll work with the whole team to ensure we're giving the best experience possible in every interaction with Astalty.
How Do I Apply? Eager to be a part of our journey? To apply, please include your CV and a cover letter showcasing your experience and alignment with our mission.
Astalty is proud to champion diversity in the tech world. We are an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and warmly invite applications from all sectors of the community, including those identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, from culturally diverse backgrounds, LGBTQIA, or individuals with a disability.
