What you'll doOn-site collaboration is essential and critical to the continued success of ECAL.Work closely with Product Managers and UX/UI Designers to develop responsive applications.Contribute to building and documenting new features for our flagship product, while also refining and enhancing existing functionality.Take the lead in solution integration, improving product features by leveraging relevant tools and frameworks for smooth tech stack integration.Shape the technical direction of projects, with a focus on scalability, innovation, and making strategic decisions.Act as a bridge between front-end and back-end components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize the application stack.Support the development of native mobile applications, expanding the product's capabilities to reach a broader user base.Establish and implement design standards that prioritize usability and an intuitive UI/UX, ensuring an exceptional user experience.Define and uphold engineering standards that emphasize code quality, maintainability, and simplicity.Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and contribute insights across various aspects of the product journey.Lead and mentor junior developers in coding standards, architecture, and best practices.Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Skills requiredTo be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate you meet the following criteria:
You have a strong attention to detail and can balance getting things perfect with shipping features that solve the problem.You are able to move quickly, as we deploy several times a day.You are comfortable with designing 'on the go' since we don't spend too much time perfecting the UI before starting development; you should be able to make tweaks and adjustments as you build and as feedback is received from Product Managers.You strive to find solutions to problems independently but are also not afraid to ask for help when needed.You are a direct communicator, capable of breaking down technical problems simply and clearly.You are committed to secure development practices and understand the importance of information security.What you need to have:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).10+ years of fullstack development experience, with strong proficiency in JavaScript.Advanced expertise in front-end technologies, JavaScript frameworks, and back-end development.Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, creating a positive and productive work environment.Experience using version control tools such as GIT.Proficiency in JavaScript, ReactJS, Material UI, TypeScript, Golang, Amazon Web Services, and WordPress.Interested?
