About the role Immediate Start Baseline AGSVA Security Clearance Required We are seeking an experienced Managing Consultant to be a significant member of our dynamic and successful Consulting team. You will work closely with clients to surface and understand business issues, and provide consulting services in developing strategy plans, business cases, reports, strategic communication products, and solutions to achieve desired client outcomes. To be successful for this role requires strong consulting skills and the ability to work effectively across a variety of clients, keen attention to detail and a drive to deliver high-quality and innovative outcomes. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Assist in the provision of reviews over all parts of the project lifecycle (strategy, design, implementation, and post-implementation), undertaking business analysis, commercial review, cost modelling and advice, providing oversight and leadership of government change programs. Lead small projects or workstreams within larger projects or engagements. Develop quality project deliverables which require minimal review. Provide guidance and support to less senior staff and peers to develop project deliverables. Manage your own and your teams workload to ensure client and company QA criteria and timelines are met. Manage small issues and concerns and keep senior team members informed as required. Escalate significant issues or concerns to senior team members in a timely manner. Consistently use the QA process to deliver results as a primary author and/or primary reviewer. Utilise your expertise in research methodology, and support others gather and appropriately present data. Develop and support others to develop subject matter deliverables. Identify and apply frameworks, industry models and other forms of structure to deliverables. Work with your supervisor, account lead or stream lead and develop your consulting skills supported by the Professional Development Policy. Maintain awareness of current trends and innovation within your area of expertise. Requirements: Must Obtain/maintain minimum Baseline AGSVA clearance level (Client may require higher). Minimum 8 years experience in consulting, preferably in strategy consulting ideally from the big 4 or large consulting firms or organisation. Demonstrated ability to analyse and apply critical thinking to complex business issues and/or opportunities. An ability to articulate and justify the need for change and recommend solutions for targeted business outcomes and measurable improvements. Strong work ethic and ability to deliver both individual and team projects. Professional and polite demeanour. Ability to develop compelling business cases and various documentation. Well-developed presentation and communications skills. Strong ability to manage time commitments across multiple client engagements.
