We are recognised for our culture, innovation and industry-leading development of infrastructure, mining assets and green energy initiatives.Our OpportunityFuel SpecialistWork Location: Solomon - Fortescue's Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.Roster: 7:7 Days Only - FIFO ex PerthKey ResponsibilitiesFuel delivery planning, coordinating trucks and fuel delivery to ensure continuous fuel supply.Monitor fuel levels and transfers using SCADALiaise with planners and supervisors to ensure jobs are done according to schedule to maintain complianceTrain personal to enable coverage during leave and sicknessSite auditingCompletion of EOM fuel reportsLiaising with site personal regarding faults and defectsExcellent workmanship and attention to detail to meet the standards of FortescueExcellent customer communication skillsBe able to work as part of a team or independentlyBe productive to complete tasks within set timePossess a positive attitude even under pressureQualifications and ExperienceC class licenceDemonstrated experience with fuel transport and infrastructure, including mechanical knowledgeDemonstrated computer skills, particularly with excel, outlook and SCADADemonstrated experience in a similar role and capacity, or with fuel industry experience being a plus.Organisational Skills: Excellent time management, planning, and organisational abilities.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with fatigue management, dangerous goods, and road transport rules and regulations.Decision Making: Ability to apply logic and experience to make timely, sound judgements.Our CommitmentFortescue is deeply committed to providing a safe culture that builds respect, fosters inclusiveness, and values diversity.
